A complete guide to the Tokyo International Forum (Yurakucho), covering access, hall layout, signature conferences, and nearby hotels — ideal for international symposia.

Overview

The Tokyo International Forum is one of central Tokyo’s largest international conference complexes, located directly at Yurakucho. Its iconic inverted-boat glass atrium anchors a venue that includes Hall A (5,000+ seats), mid-size Halls B–D, exhibition halls, and a range of meeting rooms — serving international conferences, symposia, and performances for decades.

Access

Directly connected to JR Yurakucho Station (underground passage from the Keiyo Line), a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Station, and within walking distance of Ginza, Hibiya, and Otemachi subway stations. Limousine bus services from Haneda and Narita make it easy to reach for international attendees, and the venue sits at the heart of Tokyo’s dining and hotel infrastructure.

Facilities

Hall A is one of Japan’s largest multipurpose auditoriums, suited for major international conferences, corporate keynotes, and opening ceremonies. Halls B and C work well for mid-size sessions and panels, while the glass-building meeting rooms accommodate breakouts, business meetings, and press briefings. The underground exhibition halls can host accompanying exhibits and receptions.

Typical Events

The venue is a long-standing home for global corporate conferences, medical and academic symposia, government-backed summits, and large technology events — regularly welcoming substantial overseas audiences.

Hospitality Environment

International-brand hotels, high-end sushi and kaiseki restaurants, and classic bar lounges are concentrated across the surrounding Yurakucho, Marunouchi, and Hibiya districts, making after-hours hosting for executive guests convenient.
