Expect heavy crowds at Suidobashi Station after major events
After Yomiuri Giants games and large-scale concerts, Suidobashi Station can see 50,000–60,000 people converge in a short period. Block-by-block crowd control measures often mean 30–60 minutes to exit. Walking about 5 minutes to Korakuen Station (Marunouchi/Namboku Lines) is a reliable way to avoid the worst congestion.
Use the East Exit at Suidobashi Station
The East Exit of Suidobashi Station (JR and Toei Mita Line) connects directly to the main gate of the Tokyo Dome City complex. The West Exit leads toward Korakuen Hall, in the opposite direction — make sure to use the East Exit.
Korakuen Station as an alternative departure point
Korakuen Station is about 5 minutes on foot from Gate 22 (main gate). When returning toward Ikebukuro or Yotsuya, this station is often less crowded than Suidobashi and can make your journey home easier.
