Tips Before You Visit

Underground connection from Nishi-Shinjuku Station Exit C8

Nishi-Shinjuku Station (Marunouchi Line) Exit C8 connects directly to the B1F level of Hilton Tokyo (Hilltopia) via underground passage. No umbrella is needed even in rain — a significant advantage when carrying luggage or wearing formal attire.

Use Exit A7 from Tochomae Station

If arriving from Tochomae Station (Oedo Line), use Exit A7 for the underground passage route to the hotel (approximately 3 minutes). Exit E4 leads above ground and is not recommended.

June–October 2026: Underground area construction underway

Plumbing works are in progress in the hotel’s underground area from June to October 2026, affecting some facilities. St. George Bar is expected to reopen in September. Check the official website for current status before your visit.

Ongoing large-scale construction in Nishi-Shinjuku

The Shinjuku Grand Terminal project (expected completion in the 2040s) involves continuing major construction throughout the Nishi-Shinjuku area. Some sidewalks are rerouted or narrowed, so allow extra travel time when navigating on foot.

Morning taxi queues at the front entrance

The hotel’s drop-off and pickup rotary sees long taxi queues during the checkout rush (approximately 8:00–9:00 a.m.). During this window, using the subway — Nishi-Shinjuku Station or Tochomae Station — is more efficient.

Walking from Shinjuku Station

Hilton Tokyo is approximately 10 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station’s West Exit (JR and private rail lines). Ongoing construction may require detours in some sections; the hotel’s access map on the official website provides up-to-date route guidance.
