Event Overview
SusHi Tech (Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo) is one of Asia’s largest international startup conferences, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. 2026 marks its third edition. It is positioned as a global hub for innovation aimed at realizing sustainable cities by harnessing cutting-edge technology and diverse ideas.
Startups, investors, corporates, students, government officials, and a wide range of other players come together, making it an ideal opportunity to envision the future of sustainable cities together.

1. Sessions
How do we achieve sustainable cities through high technology—a challenge common to all of humanity—and what should we aim for? Top runners from Japan and abroad gather for a diverse lineup of sessions offering insights and debate about the future.
2. The “SusHi Tech Challenge” Pitch Contest
The SusHi Tech Challenge 2026, a pitch contest for startups tackling the shared global challenge of “realizing sustainable cities through high technology,” will be held. Startups selected from more than 500 applicants will deliver passionate pitches, and the Grand Prix winner is set to receive a prize of ¥10 million along with additional prizes from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and partner companies.
3. Pavilion & Booth Exhibits
Ecosystem players from around the world will exhibit, promoting open innovation. More than 500 exhibitors are expected to gather in one place, including booth exhibits by overseas startups that have not yet entered Japan, pavilions from global enterprises, overseas cities, and prominent VCs, and a student pavilion planned and operated by current students.
4. Business Meetings
A dedicated business-meeting space will be set up to facilitate matching between startups and VCs, large corporations, overseas cities, and others. The official smartphone app lets participants book meetings with one another in advance.

Venue Access
Tokyo Big Sight can be reached in about a 7-minute walk from Kokusai-tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line, or about a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Big Sight Station on the Yurikamome Line. From Narita Airport, the limousine bus bound for the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is convenient.
Admission Procedures
The admission pass issued at the venue reception prints the name registered on your My Page in Roman letters. Please be sure to switch your registration to Roman-letter notation before the event day. Admission on the day requires presenting a QR code.
Tips for Overseas Participants
Downloading the official app (iOS / Android) in advance makes QR admission, checking the timetable, and booking business meetings smooth. Free Wi-Fi is also available within the venue.
